Burnham-Brandeis Helical Package Updated to 20.2

The Burnham-Brandeis Helical Package has been updated to release 20.2 - now supports Mac OS X 10.6

Today we've posted a new release of the Burnham-Brandeis Helical Package, Release 20.2.

Users have been busy putting the 20.1 BBHP release through its paces and reporting issues back to us.  This release incorporates a number of bug fixes and users are encouraged to upgrade to this new release.  Along with various bug fixes and updates to better support newer compilers, release 20.2 is now also supported on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6).  At this time we encourage Mac OS X users to build 32-bit binaries (and the configuration scripts are already set up that way) -- you can use any version of gfortran from 4.3.0 through 4.6.0.  Our latest builds were performed with gfortran 4.6.0 which we downloaded from the Mac OS X High Performance Computing site.

At the moment we're distributing the packages in source code form, as well as pre-built binaries for CentOS 5.4, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.  Other binary distributions may become available so check back if the one you're looking for isn't listed.
